I’m calling your bluff

I’ve heard a million reasons from people as to why they “can’t” lose weight or meet their fitness goals.

I’m too tired.
I don’t have time to go to the gym.
I don’t like exercising.
I can’t do that workout, it’s too hard!
I don’t own a treadmill.
I don’t like working out at home.
I don’t have time to make healthy meals.
My family won’t eat healthy.
Everytime I loose weight it seems to come back.
I’m just one of those people who can’t loose weight.

All things I’ve heard. And again, these are all nothing more than excuses. You know what excuses are? You, holding yourself back. You will never know what you can accomplish until you decide to let the excuse monster die. Let today be the day you kill it. One simple change at a time. Stomp those excuses into the ground my friends. Change your mindset and begin to change your life. Just a little bit of tough love for the new month.

    You know what my answer is to the no treadmill excuse? Virtually everyone has a set of stairs in their house/apartment. Up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down. Only valid excuse is knee arthritis or balance issues…I can even read a book while doing it, though I don’t necessarily recommend it;)

  2. Get ‘em girl!! If you want it, you have to make time for it, and nobody said it would be easy.

    I did a 20 minute work out this morning Miss Amanda. Going to do another one in a bit. How much time do you spend each day exercising? Does it vary from day to day? Mine varies.

      It really varies for me as well Sarah, but my workouts tend to be pretty long. BUT don’t let that deter you. It should always about doing what YOU personally can, and utilizing the time you have to it’s greatest potential.

      20 mins a day is awesome! 20 mins here and there pays off trust me. When I first started I believe I was only about to do about 10 mins without feeling like I was going to die ;) It’s about consistency! You got 30 mins, great! If not, make the time you have available work for you. :)
