My New Years With Hugh Jackman
Happy New Year’s everyone! How was your NYE? I made chicken pot pie last night for dinner (my two boys and myself also had some black eye peas for luck). After that we went out for some ice cream then came home to a movie. We watched Real Steel with the kiddos, it was pretty good, especially for the boys. I didn’t care either way really, if you have me distracted by Hugh Jackman I’m ok with whatever.
Crap, what was I saying? Oh yeah, new years. We watched the movie (my daughter pooped out early) but my two boys made it through to watch the ball drop. They celebrated with some sparkling grape juice. I may or may not have celebrated with a little something added in my hot chocolate.
I have some things in mind that I’d like to work on. I love being organized, and I’ve always been an organized person, but find myself getting flustered when areas of my life become a little “messy” if you will. I’m going to try to be more proactive about organizing the flow of family life a little better organized, this of course is a challenge with 3 kids. There are more physical things I’d like to get organized as well. I’m aiming for all closets to be overhauled this year – I started this last year and never got through them all.
I also signed up for Chalene Johnson’s 30 day push. I think she’s quite inspirational so I thought I’d check it out. I’m also considering signing up for Cathy Zielske’s Move More, Eat Well 2.0 – I’ll probably decide by the end of the day. As a scrapbooker this interests me of course because part of the class is making a layout for each month in 2013. Even if you aren’t a scrapbooker and looking to keep yourself accountable towards better health this year, this might be something you may want to consider because I’m a firm believer in making some sort of fitness journal for yourself and this could translate well.
Do you make new year’s resolutions? Do you have any this year you plan on working towards?
